Dr Morrison comes from a strong family, dental tradition. He comes from a family of dentists where his dad served both in the Navy and as an esteemed DC dentist. His mother was a hygienist and his brother is a dentist in Ohio. Dr. Morrison is a father of seven children and this gift has strengthened his ability to work on patients of varying ages and abilities, from his youngest child to his mother. His family tradition in dentistry has paved the way for Dr. Morrison to continue serving patients with the highest quality of dental products, tradition (never trends) and techniques available. His most important purpose is making a real difference for you and others through dental treatment. Consequently, he strives to prioritize the unique needs of each patient through continuing education to keep a robust knowledge on current dental research and developments in treatment and giving back to the community.

To continually refine and update his own skills, he maintains a rigorous continuing education schedule. The Consumer’s Research Council of America has consistently recommended Dr. Morrison as one of “America’s Top Dentists.” In 2023, he was recognized nationally with the Clinician of the Year award with the American Academy of Gold Foil Operators.

Dr. Morrison is deeply committed to education and supporting our armed forces, honoring the legacy of his dad. He has served as a clinical instructor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry as well as a guest lecturer at the University of Maryland Dental School. Additionally, Dr. Morrison is a mentor and guest lecturer at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. Dr. Morrison’s further commitment with the military is demonstrated through his dedication to treat the servicemen and servicewomen in the region to ensure they are deployable and not held back due to dental needs. His dedication to education stems from the joy he has as a father to a large family, consequently, he has invested time in several school districts, educating elementary school-age children on the importance of dental health.

Giving back to the community is a priority for Dr Morrison. He draws on his extensive clinical experience to volunteer with a national foundation providing dental care to people who cannot afford needed treatment because of serious disabilities or impaired health. Dr. Morrison also served many years (from 1999-2005) in a leadership role with a medical and dental mission that serves isolated, rural communities in the Dominican Republic.

Dr. Morrison is keenly attentive with guests of all ages and abilities. He is an exceptional provider and will explain your dental needs and options to achieve your oral health goal and uniquely healthy and beautiful smile. He has helped thousands of patients restore their smiles.

Dr. Morrison enjoys spending time with his family, friends and community. He enjoys playing pool, riding bikes and barbequing with his children. Most recently he rode 100 miles with two of his sons and is currently teaching his youngest to ride her bicycle.
